Founded 1962
We are the oldest continuously-operating First World War aviation society in the English-speaking world.
The Society publishes two journals each year, delivering detailed study on air war topics. Members also receive a quarterly newsletter, with shorter articles, news and links to online resources.
Quarterly meetings are held in-person and online, featuring speakers on WW1 air war topics.
Membership is open to all.
Join a friendly, world-wide community that is focused on learning, researching and sharing information on all aspects of WW1 aviation.
Our patron
The Society is honoured to have Air Chief Marshal (ret’d) Mark Binskin, AC, as our patron. Air Chief Marshal (ret’d) Binskin is a former Chief of the Australian Defence Force.
